I am Constance, a French soprano based in Paris.
I started singing at the age of four after falling in love with Maria Callas’ voice. From that point onwards, I sang in several children's choirs in Orléans and Paris, where I had the chance to sing in the Children's Chorus of Carmen, conducted by Dominique Sourisse at the age of eleven.
I joined the Ensemble of Young Voices Aposiopée, conducted by Natacha Bartošek. I sang with them as a chorister as well as a soloist in a broad range of repertoire which included medieval madrigals, contemporary creations, and Czech folk songs, among other things. We took part in numerous prestigious festivals, including Saintes, Toulouse les Orgues, Festival of Sacred Music in Olomouc (Czech Republic). In 2013 I had the opportunity to join the Huelgas Ensemble in the Festival Amuz in Antwerp.
In 2015, I started a bachelor's degree in biology and geosciences at the Sorbonne University, alongside singing lessons and opera workshops with Doris Lamprecht at the Conservatoire Nadia et Lili Boulanger of Paris. During these years: I arranged and sang the female choruses on the EP Qreatura by Numan Gams; performed the roles of Louise in Les Mousquetaires au Couvent by Varney; Marie-Anne in Ô mon bel inconnuby Hahn; and the Second Woman and the First Witch in Dido & Aeneas by Purcell.
In 2019, I started my studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland under the tutelage of Jane Irwin and Wilma McDougall. In 2020, I won the second prize of the Leonie Kayser Competition (art songs, lieder, and mélodies), as well as the Ramsay Calder Debussy Prize in 2025 (melodies). That year, I challenged myself to perform Poulenc’s La Voix Humaine as an end-of-studies project, accompanied by Max McWhirter at the piano and co-directed by Fran Stafford. My musical education also allowed me to perform the role of the Countess in The Marriage of Figaro (Mozart) with the Berlin Opera Academy in 2024, conducted by Tom Seligman and directed by Caterina Liberovici Panti.
Between 2022 and 2024, I performed regularly with Live Music Now Scotland. Sharing music, especially classical music and opera, with people who need it most was an enormous motivation for me to give concerts and workshops in hospitals, care homes, and schools for children with special needs, as well as in prestigious venues such as the National Galleries of Scotland or the French Institute of Edinburgh.
Having obtained my degree in September 2025, I am now back in Paris, and travel regularly between here and Berlin. Since then, I have been studying with Chelsea Lehnea and Wilma MacDougall.

Je suis Constance, soprano française basée à Paris.
J’ai commencé le chant à quatre ans après être tombée amoureuse de la voix de Maria Callas. Dès lors, j’ai chanté dans plusieurs chorales à Orléans et à Paris, où j’ai eu la chance de faire partie du Chœur des Gamins de Carmen sous la direction de Dominique Sourisse, à onze ans.
J’ai ensuite rejoint l’Ensemble de Jeunes Voix Aposiopée dirigé par Natacha Bartošek. J’y ai chanté en tant que choriste et soliste dans un répertoire large et varié allant des madrigaux médiévaux aux créations contemporaines en passant par les chansons populaires tchèques. Avec cet ensemble, j’ai participé à de nombreux festivals dont Saintes, Toulouse les Orgues ou encore Callinet. En 2013, j’ai participé au Festival Amuz aux côtés de l’Ensemble Huelgas dirigé par Paul Van Nevel.
En 2015, je m’engage dans une licence de biologie et géosciences à la Sorbonne, en parallèle de cours de chant et de formation artistique auprès de Doris Lamprecht au Conservatoire Nadia et Lili Boulanger de Paris. Pendant ces années de marathon, j’arrange et chante également les chœurs sur l’EP Qreatura de Nuwan Gams, je chante Louise dans Les Mousquetaires au Couvent de Varney, Marie-Anne dans Ô mon bel inconnude Hahn, et la Seconde Dame et la Première Sorcière dans Didon et Enée de Purcell.
En 2019, j’intègre le Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. J’y étudie avec Jane Irwin et Wilma McDougall. En 2020, je remporte le deuxième prix du Concours Leonie Kayser (mélodies, lieder et art songs), ainsi que le Ramsay Calder Debussy Prize en 2025 (mélodies françaises). Cette année-là, je me mets au défi de monter La Voix Humaine (Poulenc) pour mon projet de fin de master, accompagnée par Max McWhirter au piano, partageant la mise en scène avec Fran Stafford. Ma formation me permet de me produire avec la Berlin Opera Academy dans le rôle de la Comtesse dans les Noces de Figaro de Mozart en 2024, dirigé par Tom Seligman et mis en scène par Caterina Liberovici Panti.
Entre 2022 et 2024, je me produis régulièrement avec le tremplin pour artistes émergents Live Music Now Scotland. La transmission de la musique, notamment classique, auprès de publics n’y ayant pas forcément accès m’amène à donner des concerts dans des hôpitaux, maisons de retraite et écoles, ainsi que dans des lieux prestigieux tels que l’Institut Français d’Écosse ou les National Galleries of Scotland.
Ayant terminé ma formation en septembre 2025, je suis de retour à Paris et voyage régulièrement entre ici et Berlin. Je continue de me former avec Chelsea Lehnea et Wilma McDougall.
